ROSKO ASTRONAUT

This is a 33 cm astronaut. It is battery operated with great lithographed tinplate,Rosko walks forward,stops,raises illuminated walkie-talkie,emits beeping sounds,while the blue bulb under his space helmet flashes...

There were two color versions of Rosko,in blue and a rarer red. In 1991 Osaka Tin Toy Institute(OTTI) reproduced Rosko in a limited edition of 1000 pieces..This fine reproduction became quite popular among robot collectors who will pay up to $450 ,for a mint boxed version..
