Mr. Machine cruises along with swinging arms,it's bell ringing,siren sounding every 10 secs and sports a head with an opening/closing mouth..
The first version was with metal gears and key ,the second employing plastic for those parts.
Mr. Machine is great fun to watch in action, and Ideal didn't stop there...They created him as a take apart toy as well,integrating numeric and geometric patterning, to assist in assembly.
Sears carried the early version of Mr. Machine in their 1960's wish book for ...$ 8.77.
Mint original package values are generally high for Mr.Machine,as most kids immediately discarded the oversized box..so keep an eye on...
