Yoshiya's Mighty Robot is based on the Chief Robotman/Chief Smoky pattern design.

Made in the mid sixties you can clearly see the "plastic influence" taking over: a boxy head,red eyes-ears caps-antenna-arms, yellow visor and 16 interlinked gears,all made out of plastic....Many believe that once they had "gone plastic" ,their products were never the same..

Yoshiya's Mighty Robot has a simple bump-n-go action,and features swinging arms, an illuminating head, a good blend of colors and some nice chest lithographics.
