Louis Marx & Co pioneered innovative,affordable,mass produced toys for the American market and in 1968, Marx finally "strike it lucky" with the release of their two most succesful products....the Colonel Hap Hazard and Hi-Bouncer Moon Scout.

Colonel Hap Hazard is a battery operated toy,and during operation it's head-mounted heli-blade rotates with two miniature lights (one green-one red) on either end of the blade fully illuminated..

Colonel is mainly tin,though his arms are made of hard plastic and proudly sports the NASA logo, as an obvious tribute to the first preparations for the Moon landing!
