The "Linemar/Masudaya connection"..

As with many Linemar toys,Golden Robot's manufacturer is not identified,but it is believed to be a Masudaya product,based on shared components with other robots sold under Masudaya's brand name...

(ie:R-35's identical claw hands,boxy head,likeness on the box,..etc..)

The Golden Robot is battery operated,corded remote controlled,and features a block head with "flashing lighted eyes"(as declared in the box),swinging claw arms,and some amazing pin walking action, based on it's well hidden pins inside the feet..

Golden Robot's box is an elusive item and it doubles the market value if found in mint condition..It simply features the word "Robot" and the artwork reminds more of the R-35 robot,clearly a Masudaya product!!
