JAPAN circa 1968

On Lagos Island a Godzillasaurus was awakened by naval bombardment during WWII. After being seriously injured by American troops, Godzilla was left to die only to be mutated into a huge fire-breathing monster 10 years later by radiation from atomic tests in the Pacific.

In the 1991 movie Godzilla vs. Mothra, this origin is modified so the wounded godzillasaurus is teleported to the Bering Sea. However, a nuclear accident occurs there in present day creating a larger, more powerful Godzilla..............

He was manufactured by Bullmark in the late sixties and was a big hit universally but especially in the Japanese market.

Origin:

In the old series of films, King Ghidora is a space monster who comes to earth inside a meteor. In the movie Godzilla vs King Ghidora, it is created by a clever trick by the bad guys: they replace the ailing godzillasaurus on Lagos island (see the Godzilla mini-page) with 3 genetically engineered pets. These monsters are exposed to the radiation that originally created Godzilla and this creates King Ghidora.

Origin:An egg was found in 1993 on Adona island. It was taken back to Japan for study when it hatched releasing a baby Godzilla. Godzilla was able to locate the baby and take it away from civilization. In 1994, it grew to a height of 30 meters on Basu Island. In 1995 it had grown a little larger and was now able to fight on its own.
