Yoshiya's Chief Robot Man is a simple,classic skirted robot with a bump-and-go mystery action which is complemented by the toy's twirling ears(Robby-like),swinging arms,flashing lights and turning head.

Strategic use of plastics-particularly in the face and chest plate areas-adds what no lithography ever could!

 

Chief Robot Man is a precious robot toy and we rarely see it's close relatives/variants-Radical Robot,Mystery Moon Man,Chief Smoky,and Mighty Robot..

Radical Robot

This is the 1950's Japan KO's Rare Radical Robot. Hard to find Radical Robot is finished in bright metallic blue . One of the all time best skirted robots with the classic block head design. Moves with mystery bump n-go- action, spinning antennas and lighted head.

During operation,Radical Robot emits a cool space sound,and the head moves from side to side as well.

There were several different robots in this series, Chief Robotman finished in grey, Radical Robot finished in blue, Mystery Moon Man finished in white & the Mighty & Smokey have different heads & actions.
Mint boxed examples are highly desirable and have exceedingly strong market value.
