JAPAN circa 1962

This robot is almost identical to the 12'' inch Mr Robot,but boasts altered decoration and packaging.

Hailing from about 1962, this reissue has a metallic silver body and retains Mr Robot's comical bump- n -go action ,swinging arms,spring loaded mechanical brain and cranial illumination..

Perhaps the best part is the package,which depicts the toy through realistic art,set against a desolate lunar landscape with Saturn floating in the night sky.......

Certainly it's a more substantial piece of box art than you find on most of the skirt robot boxes.(picture courtesy of Alphadrome) .
